The Israel-Iran war has entered its 12th day of exchange of firearms, putting the world on the verge of collapse. The conflict escalated when Israel launched offensive attacks against Iran on Friday, June 13.

Several countries have been impacted by the war, either as a result of their direct involvement, regional consequences, or proxy activities. The list of countries that have been notably affected has therefore been compiled.

According to The Sun, below is the list:

Iran

As the primary victim, Iran has been severely affected by Israel's air attacks in the bid to destroy its alleged nuclear weapon facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, energy sites and military infrastructures.

Iran's resources have been strained as a result of its missile retaliations. More than 430 have reportedly died, and 3500 are said to be injured. The incident has disrupted Iran's economy, oil exports and domestic activities as many people fled Tehran, the country's capital.

Israel

The Jewish country has initiated a direct conflict with a surprise attack on Iran, targeting its nuclear and military facilities. The development has strained Israel's international relations with some Arab countries.

Israel has also sustained damage from Iran's drones and missile attacks. The country has reported 25 deaths and hundreds of injuries. Major cities like Tel Aviv and Haifa have been targeted, and their air defences have been engaged.

Yemen

The country has been affected through the Iranian proxy, the Houthi movement, which has been participating actively by launching missiles at Israel in solidarity with Palestinians and Iran.

The Houthis have condemned the US attacks on their targets as a call for war, fueling their action. The group's activities have threatened shipping on the Red Sea with a major impact on the global trade route.

Lebanon

The Iranian-backed militia group in Lebanon, Hezbollah, has been weakened but has remained a potential player in the Iran-Israel war.

Israel has continuously launched strikes on Lebanon and assassinated Hezbollah leaders. They have reduced the group's strength, but its participation in the war has further destabilised Lebanon, which is suffering from political and economic crisis.

Syria

One of the factors that contributed to the conflict's escalation following the death of Bashar al-Assad in 2024, which weakening of the regional influence of Iran.

United States
